Painting is one of the forms of human creativity.

Here I emphasize the word “human”, because in the times of falsely called artificial intelligence, many would think that these digital creations also possess creativity. Of course, they do not, and will not soon.

But precisely because of AI, people need to create. Everyone. And those who have never created, if there are any. It is the best biological answer to all the nonsense that is happening in the world today. In essence, it is a duty.

Painting itself offers a huge field of research, so many possibilities that it is incredible. For example, I am interested in that touch of representational painting and abstraction. I am also interested in what I would call experiential realism, although this little thing comes from the sphere of psychology, not from the history of art. I have always been interested in how to present a scene in a way that answers the question: what is it like to be there?

Or, let’s approach it from the other side: one can paint without any painting lessons, and one can deeply study the procedures, techniques, and skills. However, I am interested in the third level: intuition in painting. It is important to understand the following: in order to reach that third level, we must go through the first two, there are no shortcuts. And to know that the second level never ends, because there are no absolute masters of painting, a person learns while he is alive.

But, immediately building on that acquired technical knowledge with intuition, searching for that experiential realism, that is exactly what I have set myself. Painting has a deep meditative component. And using that, we dive into ourselves, we meet and then we are able to bring out that self who will be able to explain what it is like to be there, giving an answer through the prism of ourselves. That is why it is perhaps good to say, okay, that is all subjective, so that realism is actually subjectivism. But, since it is mine, it is realism for me personally.
